An I-Series E server central processor from our operations
center in Corporate Headquarters is the center of Information
Services at H & M. H & M
has continually updated and expanded its computer capabilities
over the years. Automated systems are used in support of each
of the company's warehousing, trucking, CFS, maintenance services
and ocean / rail terminal operations. H & M Software is now
being used to control all phases of the loading / unloading, yard
and gate control functions.
H & M is AMS-capable, thus giving us the ability to transmit
and receive documentation electronically via EDI and is a Certified
Service Center for U.S. Customs. All EDI transactions are monitored
on a daily basis for accuracy.
